Widespread extreme fire conditions are forecast for central parts and southern NSW this Saturday 4 January 2020.
As a result, all national parks including tracks, trails and campgrounds on the NSW south coast and Kosciuszko National Park are CLOSED until further notice.
All people located in Kosciuszko National Park, including resorts and all other places located within Kosciuszko National Park, must exit the park before the deadline of 10am Friday 3 January 2020. This is an essential measure to ensure public safety.
The RFS has advised anyone holidaying on the NSW south coast, particularly in the general area from Batemans Bay to the Victorian border, you need to leave before this Saturday and people should not travel to this region.
